About the Position

At this moment, we are looking for a Wind Technician to join WESEE, part of the E-INFRA group.

Role Description

The technician will participate in maintenance, service, diagnostics, repairs, component replacement, and installation support for wind turbines. Activities are carried out within the project team, according to the level of preparation, validated competencies, and authorizations held.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks assigned by the Team Leader, following procedures, technical documentation, and instructions received.
• Consult and understand manuals, schematics, technical parameters, and necessary instructions for the task.
• Participate in inspections, verifications, measurements, and identify defects, requesting support when the situation exceeds the own competency level.
• Follow safety rules, use protective equipment correctly, and stop and report activities when conditions are unsafe.
• Verify and use tools, equipment, and materials correctly, and report defects or shortages.
• Check the quality of own work and report identified deviations.
• Complete work sheets and checklists, record measurements, and communicate progress and problems to the Team Leader.
• Collaborate with the team, maintain order at the workplace, and participate in necessary training for professional development.

Requirements

• Technical training or relevant practical experience in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical fields.
• Ability to understand technical documentation and apply received instructions in practice.
• English language skills for team communication and understanding documentation.
• Availability for international travel and work at height.
• Seriousness, discipline, attention to detail, and responsibility for executed work.
• Team spirit, open communication, involvement, and willingness to learn, apply feedback, and adapt to new activities.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in the wind industry.
• Certifications, safety courses, and technical training specific to the wind sector.
• Training for certain types of turbines or experience in using specific tools and equipment.
