Telecom Site Supervisor – VSAT & Microwave (Civil Works)

Location: Egypt (travel required across multiple sites)

Position Type: Project-based position

We are seeking a Telecom Site Supervisor to oversee the installation and final approval of VSAT and Microwave sites across Egypt. The role combines technical supervision of telecom equipment with verification of civil works to ensure full compliance with project requirements before site acceptance.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of VSAT and Microwave equipment, including antennas, radios, ODU/IDU, cabling, and grounding systems.
• Verify that civil works are executed according to approved drawings (technical rooms, foundations, cable trays, lightning protection systems, electrical panels, etc.).
• Attend and supervise Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), including voice and data connectivity, RF levels, and KPIs via NMS/EMS.
• Identify non-conformities, generate punch lists, and confirm resolution prior to final site approval.
• Prepare site visit reports including checklists, photos, key measurements, and final status.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and local contractors.
• Provide final technical approval of each site.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising VSAT and/or Microwave link installations.
• Knowledge of civil works related to telecom site deployment.
• Ability to review electrical installations and grounding systems.
• Professional level of English.
• Arabic (native or fluent) is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel within Egypt and work autonomously.

Desirable

• Experience conducting or reviewing Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Familiarity with measurement tools such as spectrum analyzers and earth testers.
• Knowledge of site safety standards (EHS/OSH).
