Telecommunications Engineer - Waveform & Data Link Design

Responsibilities

• Design waveforms and data links (Layers 1 and 2) for tactical and strategic communication systems.
• Implement digital signal processing techniques: modulation, channel coding, synchronization, etc.
• Develop models and simulations in Matlab/Simulink to validate designs.
• Participate in hardware implementation (FPGA, DSP and/or microcontrollers) using VHDL.
• Collaborate in system integration and testing in real environments.
• Contribute to architecture definition and performance optimization in RFSoC/MPSoC solutions.
• Work closely with other technical teams to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Communications Engineer.
• Experience in waveform and/or data link design (Layers 1 and 2).
• Knowledge of digital signal processing (modulation, coding, etc.).
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink and VHDL.
• Experience with digital hardware (FPGA, DSP and/or microcontrollers).

Nice to Have

• Experience in C/C++ and RFSoC/MPSoC architectures.
