
Temenos Business Analyst

About the Position
We are hiring Temenos T24/Transact professionals to support a global universal bank on a portfolio of enhancement and transformation initiatives. The engagement involves working on ongoing platform improvements, functional enhancements, and targeted transformation programs across the Temenos landscape. Team members will collaborate with distributed stakeholders, contribute to stable long-term programs, and work within a mature banking environment that values structured delivery, quality, and domain depth.
Responsibilities
Core Business Analysis Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge between business and technology, translating business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation across securities, trading, funds, custody, and reporting domains
- Produce BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, data mappings, and impact assessments
- Support system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), data migration, and production readiness
- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Finance, IT, and external solution providers
- Ensure alignment with regulatory, accounting, and audit requirements
Domain Responsibilities
Securities Processing & Custody
- Business analysis for:
- Securities processing and custody operations
- Customer & Portfolio Data
- Cash Accounts, Cash Payments, Deposits
- Corporate actions and securities lifecycle events
- Support General Accounting & Reporting
Credit-related analysis
- Loans, Limits, Collateral
- Tax-related impacts, including:
- FATCA, CRS, IRS 871(m)
Security Trading, Asset Transfer & Funds
- Support Security Trading and Asset Transfer processes covering:
- Trade capture, lifecycle management, settlement & clearing
- SSI and Counterparty Management
- Charges, Commission, and Tax Services
- Analyze funds processing, grouping, and settlement flows
- Work on integration with execution and post-trade systems, such as:
- Contineo
- Aladdin
- CTM (Confirmation & Trade Matching systems)
Tax, Regulatory Reporting & Shared Services
- Business analysis for:
- Regulatory and tax reporting requirements
- Shared services processes within Transact
- Ensure reporting solutions align with local and global regulatory standards
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory change initiatives
Technology & Product Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Temenos Transact (T24), including:
- SECURITY.MASTER
- Security Trading
- Security Life-cycle Management
- Settlements & Clearing Services
- SSI & Counterparty Management
- Charges, Commission, and Tax Services
- Understanding of interfaces, batch processing, data models, and reporting within Transact
- Experience working with upstream/downstream system integrations
Requirements
Must have
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking / Capital Markets / Securities
- Strong domain knowledge across securities, custody, trading, asset servicing, funds, tax, and regulatory reporting
- Proven experience working on Temenos Transact (T24) implementations or enhancements
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in complex, multi-system environments
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models
Nice to have
- Experience with Execution Management or Trade Matching Platforms
- Exposure to global custody operations and multi-market securities
- Knowledge of regulatory regimes across regions
- Experience in large transformation or core banking modernization programs
Languages
- English: C2 Proficient
