About the Position
We are seeking a Temenos Infrastructure Lead with 6-9 years of experience in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps for our BCM Industry team in Chennai, India. The role involves building and managing CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and ensuring reliable, secure, and observable software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices.
- Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git), including branching and merge strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based, etc.).
- Configure and maintain build and dependency management using Maven (or similar tools).
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Groovy, and Python for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
- Implement and support observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenTelemetry.
- Collaborate with release management teams to plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes, toolchains, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Must have
- 6–9 years of experience in Application Support, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Middleware Administration, preferably in Banking/Financial Services.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
- Strong experience in Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD Pipelines, Release Management, and Ansible Playbook Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes including:
- Deployments, Services, Ingress
- Helm Charts
- PVC/Persistent Storage
- RBAC & Namespace Management
- Pod Affinity/Anti-Affinity
- Container & Platform Troubleshooting
- Strong proficiency in JBoss/WildFly Administration, deployment management, datasource configuration, JVM tuning, and issue troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux Administration and Shell Scripting.
- Working knowledge of Temenos T24/TAFJ architecture, environment setup, deployment, COB support, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Vulnerability Management & Security Patching across Linux, JBoss, Container Images, and Enterprise Applications. Knowledge of vulnerability remediation.
- Strong understanding of Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, Storage, High Availability, Resilience, and Production Support models.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy/ServiceNow for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills.
