About the Position

Job Title: Temporary Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Cape Town, South Africa (4-month contract)

We are seeking a seasoned designer with 5-8 years of experience and an exceptional eye for detail. You have thrived in high-growth businesses and understand that great design is not just about aesthetics - it is a business lever that drives conversion, builds trust, and defines brand perception.

You will be the in-house expert on visual identity, acting as the gatekeeper of the brand. From high-converting landing pages to elegant corporate collateral and high-impact event stands, you will own the visual output across all channels. If you have a portfolio that demonstrates a mastery of quality, premium design across both print and digital, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Brand Guardianship

• Act as the primary custodian of the OneDome brand identity, ensuring consistency and premium quality across all touchpoints.
• Evolve and maintain brand guidelines, educating the wider team on proper brand application.
• Champion a beautiful and premium standard, rejecting work that does not meet the high bar expected of the brand.

Digital Design

• Design high-converting webpages and landing pages that balance stunning aesthetics with UX best practices.
• Create compelling digital assets for paid media, email campaigns, and social media (organic and paid).
• Collaborate with the web development team to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
• Conceptualise and design for video; creating animations, explainers, and social-first video graphics.

Corporate Collateral

• Design high-end corporate collateral including investor decks, sales brochures, and company reports.
• Ensure all printed materials reflect the premium nature of the OneDome brand, with a mastery of typography, layout, and print production techniques.
• Develop engaging promotional materials for product launches, partnerships, and marketing campaigns.
• Design large-format assets, including event stands, signage, and experiential marketing materials for industry conferences and company events.

Requirements

Experience

• 5-8 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within a high-growth tech, or premium consumer brand environment.
• A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a clear understanding of premium, quality design.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced business where adaptability and speed are key.

Technical Skills

• Mastery of creative software
• Proficiency in Figma for UI/web design collaboration.
• Experience designing for Webflow, Wordpress, or similar CMS platforms is a plus.
• Basic motion graphics or video editing capability is highly advantageous.
