About the Position

Join our Dutch-speaking scrum team in Brussels as a Test Analist, responsible for setting up and executing tests to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Develops a good understanding of the technical environment and functional requirements.
• Establishes the test strategy for various developed applications based on analyses.
• Develops test scenarios and test cases for internal ICT testing and end-to-end user tests.
• Prepares the data and executes functional and non-functional tests.
• Coordinates and supports acceptance testing and guides users through this process.
• Creates regression tests to efficiently and quickly detect software issues.
• Has a good understanding of software test automation and automates tests themselves or collaborates with other team members to set this up.
• Documents automated test procedures (principles, tools, and methodology).
• Analyzes, documents, and reports test results efficiently to business analysts and developers.
• Follows up on corrections with the relevant parties.

Requirements

• Roles: Application Tester (Confirmed)
• Languages:
  • Dutch: Native
  • French: Active knowledge
• Skills:
  • Azure DevOps: Junior
  • Writing queries in SQL, XML, and JSON: Junior
  • SoapUI/ReadyAPI/Postman or other tools: Junior
  • Experience with non-functional testing (e.g., performance testing): Junior
  • ISTQB or TMap (or other test methodologies): Confirmed
  • Agile / Scrum: Junior
  • API Testing (SOAP and REST API): Junior

Nice to Have

• ISTQB certification
• Experience with Playwright or similar tools
