Responsibilities

As a test automation engineer, you will be responsible for automating new/existing test cases within the application/project.

Execute and create automated test scripts
Document and report results (including defect management)
Work closely with the development team to ensure efficient delivery
Act as an ambassador for testing and test automation by placing a strong focus on quality
Actively try to improve existing test procedures efficiently
Monitor scope, quality, and planning
Implement frameworks and make necessary tailor-made adjustments

Requirements

Extensive experience in testing/test automation
Good technical background and familiarity with programming
Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, HP UFT, Ranorex, Protractor, etc.)
Knowledge of test tools (HP ALM, JIRA, etc.)
Experience working in an Agile environment, with knowledge of other methodologies
Communicative, proactive, and assertive
Detail-oriented and driven
Pragmatic and eager to learn
Team player, capable of working autonomously
Enjoys a good challenge and does not easily get discouraged
Fluent in Dutch and English, and/or French
