Test Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

Join flatexDEGIRO SE as a Test Automation Engineer and contribute to the development and optimization of automated tests for backend systems, APIs, and database-driven applications.

Responsibilities

• Development and enhancement of automated tests for backend systems, APIs, and database-driven applications
• Analysis of data flows, interfaces, and business processes to derive effective test strategies
• Validation of API services, database structures, and data processing
• Integration and optimization of automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline
• Analysis of quality deviations and support in their sustainable resolution
• Co-shaping of test automation, quality standards, and development processes

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, a comparable IT education, or equivalent qualification
• Experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation and in the development and enhancement of automated tests
• Practical experience in testing backend systems, APIs, or data-intensive applications and good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Ability to understand source code and technical contexts, ideally in Java, Go, and SQL-based applications
• Analytical thinking and understanding of complex process and data flows
• Independent, structured working style, high willingness to learn, and enjoyment in identifying and driving improvements
• Very good German and English language skills in speech and writing
