Test Automation Engineer (Playwright/Typescript)

Responsibilities

• Build, oversee, implement, and manage the automation testing strategy and process from scratch;
• Develop and implement the product test strategy, taking ownership of the process and ensuring high-quality delivery;
• Ensure the quality of the solution by developing and executing manual (25-30%) and automated (70-75%) tests, while improving test documentation;
• Participate in daily communication with the client in English;
• Work closely with the product team to design and test new features;
• Contribute to security testing and ensure product reliability.

Requirements

• 3 years of overall experience in software testing;
• Experience in test automation using Playwright and TypeScript;
• Practical knowledge in testing Web applications from functional and non-functional perspectives;
• Understanding of QA practices that makes you confident in bugs identification and root cause analysis for Web applications;
• Experience in building the test automation framework from scratch - must have;
• HTML/CSS and SQL knowledge on the required level for test execution;
• Understanding of UX principles of Web applications;
• REST API principles and practical experience in integration testing of web-based applications;
• Experience in Postman and Newman;
• Experience with cloud platforms (Docker, AWS, Azure);
• Upper Intermediate (B2) English (writing and speaking).
