Description

We’re looking for a creative, AI-driven Test Automation Engineer to join our N2N team, testing Ohpen’s OLP platform. AI is central to how we prepare tests, implement automation, and investigate problems. You bring the testing judgment, curiosity, and ideas that make this work effective.

Join us at Ohpen, where you’ll have a chance to work in a cloud-native fintech company on a revolutionary core-banking platform.

Responsibilities

As a Test Automation Engineer within our Loans and Mortgages QA team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining end-to-end automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.

  • Be part of a collaborative team of around seven engineers-including automation testers, software developers, and QA specialists-focusing on acceptance and UI testing to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Cover the full testing suite, contributing to high-quality releases in a cloud-native fintech environment.
  • Leverage AI in your testing practices.

Requirements

  • Foundation in testing and quality engineering.
  • Ability to turn customer journeys and acceptance criteria into meaningful test scenarios, identify edge cases, and decide what is worth automating.
  • Creative thinking about automation; challenge existing approaches, experiment with new ideas, and find ways to make testing more effective, reliable, and maintainable.
  • Use AI as a core part of your workflow; give AI the right context, guide it through unfamiliar systems, and use it to design tests, implement automation, and investigate failures.
  • Critically evaluate AI-generated work; question assumptions, verify results against evidence, and take ownership of the quality of the outcome.
  • Enjoy investigating complex problems; connect evidence across user interfaces, APIs, logs, and events to distinguish product defects from test or environment issues.
  • Understand how to test distributed, event-driven systems, including asynchronous behavior, data consistency, and interactions between services.
  • Comfortable understanding and reviewing the resulting code.

We Offer

  • Opportunity to work in a cloud-native fintech environment.
  • Collaborative team environment.
  • Use of cutting-edge tools and technologies.
