Join our dynamic team in Brussels, Belgium, as a Test Coördinator – Test Analist. This unique role combines responsibilities of a Test Coördinator and a Test Analist, offering a blend of coordination and analysis in IT Quality Testing.

Context

RSVZ is a bilingual organization with over 150 people working in the IT department. The team operates using agile methodologies, specifically the scrum framework. Team Phoenix, one of the 10 development teams, is multidisciplinary and consists of 12 members, including a scrum master, business analysts, developers, PO, DevOps, Test Analysts, and a Test Coördinator. The team is equally divided between Dutch and French speakers.

Responsibilities

As a Test Coördinator, you will be responsible for organizing and following up on testing activities to deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements and expectations. You will work within an agile development team, coordinating test plans with testers, developers, analysts, and the business.

As a Test Analist, you will be responsible for setting up and executing tests to deliver qualitative software. Your tasks include:

• Developing a deep understanding of the technical environment and functional requirements.
• Establishing test strategies based on analyses for various developed applications.
• Creating test scenarios and test cases for internal ICT tests and end-to-end tests with users.
• Preparing data and executing functional and non-functional tests.
• Coordinating and supporting acceptance tests and guiding users through the process.
• Creating regression tests to efficiently and quickly detect software issues.
• Understanding software test automation and automating tests or collaborating with team members to set them up.
• Documenting automated test procedures (principles, tools, and methodology).
• Efficiently analyzing, documenting, and reporting test results to business analysts and developers.
• Following up on corrections with relevant parties.

Requirements

• Roles: IT Quality Tester (Confirmed)
• Languages:
  • Dutch (Native)
  • French (Native)
• Skills:
  • Experience with API testing (Soap and REST API) and non-functional testing (e.g., performance tests) (Junior)
  • Proficiency in complex queries in SQL, XML, and JSON (Junior)
  • Experience with SoapUI/ReadyAPI/Postman or other tools (Junior)
  • Experience working in Azure DevOps (Junior)
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum environment (Junior)
  • Knowledge of test methodologies and standards such as ISTQB or TMap (Confirmed)

Nice to Have

• ISTQB certification
• Experience with Playwright or similar tools
