Test Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited, a leading provider of engineering, IT, and business solutions. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for automotive Verification and Validation activities, focusing on the BCM domain.

Responsibilities

• Creation of test scripts in VTestStudio
• Handling of Component Test Bench (Vector VT System) - Design, Setup, Maintenance, Upgrade, Troubleshooting, Test Execution
• Test Execution (Manual/Automation), Result Analysis, and Defect logging

Requirements

Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in automotive Verification and Validation activities including functional testing

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in Hardware in the Loop (HiL) with the following skillset:
  • Good knowledge of Vector Canoe, VT System, Vector Tool Chain, VT Studio
  • Good domain knowledge of Automotive Systems and architecture (Preferred Domain knowledge in Body Electronics)
  • Good knowledge of Communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Preferred to have knowledge in Automotive Ethernet
  • Good knowledge of Diagnostic protocols like UDS ISO-14229
  • Good knowledge of scripting languages like CAPL
  • Good knowledge of Management Tools like DOORS, JIRA, GIT
  • Good knowledge of Test Process and Methodologies. ISTQB basic level certification preferred
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and electronic laboratory skills

Preferred Skills:

• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics/ EEE/ Computer Science
