Test Lead

About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic QA professional with over 10 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test leadership. The ideal candidate will drive the overall QA strategy, lead large-scale testing initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products across multiple teams and platforms.

Responsibilities

• API Automation and Webservices Testing: Strong experience with rest assured and Java.
• QA Strategy: Define and lead the overall QA strategy, including test planning, automation, performance, and security testing.
• Test Automation Frameworks: Architect scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks and solutions.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor QA teams across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to integrate quality into every stage of the SDLC.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and metrics.
• Tool Evaluation: Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.
• Reporting: Provide executive-level reporting on quality metrics, risks, and mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or architect role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium).
  • Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Awareness of AI tools and technology (e.g., Github Copilot).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
