We are seeking a Test Manager for a large-scale business and IT transformation project in Vienna, Austria. Join us for 30 hours per week in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Support testing activities for a large-scale business and IT transformation project involving system integration, data migration, and replacement of existing platforms and processes
• Create and maintain the test concept, test strategy, and integrated test plan
• Define test levels, test types, roles, responsibilities, test data, environments, and entry/exit criteria
• Derive and structure test cases from business requirements, solution designs, process documentation, migration requirements, and JIRA epics
• Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, regression, migration, parallel run, and cutover testing activities
• Ensure readiness of test data, test environments, users, authorizations, and dependencies
• Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution processes using JIRA or comparable tools
• Facilitate test preparation, status, defect, acceptance, and readiness meetings across project streams
• Monitor and report on test progress, risks, dependencies, defects, and overall test readiness
• Prepare test status reports, test closure reports, acceptance documentation, and related deliverables

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Test Manager or Test Lead in complex IT and business transformation projects
• Proven experience defining test strategies, test concepts, integrated test plans, governance structures, and entry/exit criteria
• Strong hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, regression, migration, parallel run, cutover, and business acceptance testing
• Experience translating business requirements, solution designs, migration requirements, and user stories into structured test scenarios and test cases
• Solid expertise in defect management, test traceability, test reporting, acceptance processes, and audit-ready documentation
• Advanced proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and related test management and collaboration tools
• Experience coordinating testing activities across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams
• Experience managing test data, test environments, user access, risks, dependencies, and overall test readiness
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance-driven quality assurance, controlled testing approaches, escalation processes, and audit requirements

Nice to Have

• Preferred experience with financial services or asset management environments
• Preferred experience with SimCorp-related process landscapes, portfolio and order management, risk or compliance-related business processes, and platform transformation initiatives involving solutions such as SimCorp, Aladdin, or comparable investment management platforms
• Preferred experience with data migration, system replacement, carve-out or post-merger integration initiatives, as well as FundsXML, ESG/SFDR-related data domains, and transition projects involving replacement of legacy applications and services
