About the Position

Test Manager – Financial Markets

At ING Hubs Spain, we are looking for a Test Manager – Financial Markets to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a Test Manager, you will serve as the interface between various stakeholders to plan and execute end-to-end testing with a well-defined strategy. You will leverage your knowledge and experience in financial markets, products, applications, and delivery to lead testing in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the interface between various stakeholders (Trading, Operations, IT, and software vendor partners) to plan and execute end-to-end testing with a well-defined strategy.
  • Leverage knowledge and experience in financial markets, products, applications, and delivery to lead testing in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Work independently, ensuring that the implications of testing decisions are thoroughly considered and addressed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive end-to-end vision and manage testing complexity effectively.
  • Initiate further development by planning new Epics, Features, and Stories related to testing.
  • Represent the voice of the business in defining and validating key testing scenarios, ensuring quality standards across functional, integration, and migration testing.
  • Foster an environment of open dialogue that encourages expertise development through collaboration and idea-sharing, where colleagues take responsibility, support each other to succeed, and stay ahead in testing methodologies.

Requirements

  • Completed bachelor's degree.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years in Financial Markets or Treasury environments.
  • Minimum of 5 years of strong experience in Test Management, covering test strategy, coordination, execution, and reporting.
  • Proven background in working with trading systems and complex data migration initiatives.
  • Familiarity with trade flows, front office, and trade operations activities is advantageous.
  • Structured & proactive in problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills (in English) and presentation skills across different skill and seniority levels.
  • Persistent in your approach and able to align with many different stakeholders.
  • Flexible and easily adapt to a changing environment.
