About the Position
Ajax Systems, a leading European manufacturer of security systems, is seeking a Test Process Analyst to help structure and maintain testing processes and calibration of devices in production.
This role combines analytical thinking, systematic approach, and technical understanding of hardware products. You will act as a bridge between the Automation, Device, System, and Manufacturing teams, ensuring consistency in testing approaches from pilot batches to mass production.
Responsibilities
- Analyze technical documentation (PRD, protocols, specifications) from development and certification teams, and formulate requirements for production testing/calibration.
- Describe testing processes and methodologies-functional, calibration, etc.
- Maintain the relevance of test documentation (methodologies, instructions, interaction diagrams, requirements).
- Coordinate testing requirements between the Automation, Device, System, and Manufacturing teams.
- Advise developers, QA, and technologists on testing standards and approaches.
- Participate in defining and formalizing testing conditions for complex functional elements (smoke detectors, gas sensors, anti-masking, radio modules, etc.).
- Prepare basic instructions for working with test equipment and software developed in Automation for subsequent integration into production processes.
Requirements
- Experience with hardware or embedded products (R&D, QA, Manufacturing, Test Engineering, etc.).
- Practical experience with VA tools and teamwork (e.g., Figma, Jira, Confluence).
- Understanding of hardware testing basics: functional tests, calibration, ICT/FCT.
- Ability to work with technical documentation-PRD, protocols, interaction diagrams, requirements.
- Basic understanding of electronics production processes (EVT/DVT/PVT/mass production, test flow).
- Proficiency in technical English for reading documentation.
Nice to Have
- Experience in creating or maintaining test methodologies/documentation for production.
- Understanding of hardware test automation principles.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of REST API, experience in creating or testing integration requirements.
- Experience in roles such as Test Engineer / Process Analyst / Production QA Engineer.
