Test Specifications Engineer

DXC-Luxoft is an industry-leading software integrator and solution house for automotive OEMs and suppliers. We are currently supporting several German OEMs in building their next-generation battery-electric vehicle platforms. For expanding our business offering in the European market, we seek to establish experienced automotive engineers. Responsibilities

• Perform requirement analysis
• Participate in active communication and clarification with customer stakeholders regarding requirements and test specifications
• Participation/execution of review for created specifications
• Creation of test cases and test specifications
• Test preparation and execution
• Test analysis and test evaluation
• Logging/reporting the defects found in specifications
• Proactive reporting on progress, blockers, and open points

Requirements

• Must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3 years min. working experience in IT
  • Proven experience in testing in Automotive domains
  • Strong experience of requirements and test specification analysis and creation (coverage, traceability, review)
  • Proven strong working experience with IBM DOORs or another requirements management system/tool
  • Understanding of testing life-cycle
  • Experience in test processes
  • Understanding of different testing levels and their scope
  • Understanding of testing types and testing techniques
  • Understanding of ASPICE best practices to ensure manageability, reliability, and deliverables
  • Advanced communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good problem-solving skills. Foresee potential issues and risks and come up with solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to track and support activities under responsibility
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Working experience with Jira / Confluence

• Nice to have:

  • Working experience with CodeBeamer ALM
  • Understanding of Automation strategies
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies (Waterfall, V-Model, Agile)
  • Experience with Robot Framework
  • Experience in test automation with Python
