Tester for the development and implementation of the Integrated Information System 'Geographic Information System Urban Planning Cadastre of the State Level'

About the Position

East Europe Foundation, within the framework of the USAID/UK Dev project Supporting Ukraine’s Digital Transformation (DTA), together with the Ministry of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, announces a competition for the position of a tester for the development and implementation of the Integrated Information System “Geographic Information System Urban Planning Cadastre of the State Level” (hereinafter – GIS UPCS).

Start date: May 2024.

Term of engagement: 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in identifying possible bugs and errors in the system.
• Conduct regular functional and non-functional tests of the finished and new system functionality.
• Conduct bug tracking and reporting in Confluence/Jira.
• Communicate regularly with the team and project manager about system bugs and how to fix them.
• Develop test documentation.
• Develop test plans and test coverage.
• Conduct manual testing of the information system and conduct bug tracking.
• Conduct regular reporting on identified bugs.
• Create lists of bugs, suggestions, and user requirements, and maintain their corresponding documentation.
• Conduct regular testing of fixed errors.
• Keep regular logs of incidents.
• Participate in product testing throughout the entire development life cycle (SDLC).
• Conduct regression testing of the product.
• Participate in product testing before launch.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of experience in functional and non-functional testing of web, desktop, mobile applications.
• Knowledge of QA methodology, mechanisms, and processes.
• Experience in analyzing project documentation for business, user, and technical requirements.
• Experience in developing test cases and checklists for testing new and off-the-shelf software functionality.
• Experience with client-server architecture (REST).
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
