About the Position

Third Party Operational Risk Specialist @ING Hubs Romania


Responsibilities

  • Policy Management: Setting and maintaining TPM related policies and mandatory instructions.
  • Compliance Oversight: Overseeing TPM risk across the bank, ensuring all material risks are registered, reported, and escalated as needed.
  • Expertise and Steering: Providing expertise and functional steering to local NFR teams globally.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring ING’s compliance with relevant guidelines (EBA Outsourcing GL, DORA).
  • Training and Communication: Training junior team members and communicating requirements to local NFR teams.
  • Risk Management: Leading thematic deep dives and reviews on TPM risk.
  • Simplification and Improvement: Driving simplification and risk-based approaches in NFR processes.

Requirements

  • Experience: More than 7 years of relevant experience in Non-Financial Risk.
  • Knowledge: Expert knowledge of Non-Financial Risk and regulatory requirements like EBA Guideline on Outsourcing Arrangements, European Guideline related to product oversight and governance requirements, Operational Resilience, DORA, etc. IT risk knowledge is a plus.
  • Communication: Ability to express oneself clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Teamwork: A team player with strong interpersonal skills who can operate in a diversified and multicultural work environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills as well as a keen eye for detail.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Education: University degree or equivalent.
