About the Position

We are seeking a Trading Operations Executive for a global commodities trading firm in Singapore, focusing on managing international purchase and sales contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of international purchase and sales contract fulfillment.
• Coordinate maritime shipping activities including vessel scheduling, cargo loading orders, and shipping agent liaison.
• Administer trade financing documentation, focusing on letters of credit review, validation, and bank negotiations.
• Compute and finalize financial accounts relating to voyage laytime and shipping expenditures.
• Oversee inventory data updates and cross-functional reporting for legal and financial close cycles.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in a relevant discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in trading operations or logistics within the commodities industry
• Knowledge in INCOTERMS, UCP600, ISBP, FOSFA, PORAM, and GAFTA
• Strong understanding of contract terms and international trade practices
