About the Position
We are looking for a Trainee QA Engineer (IoT projects) to join our team and gain hands-on experience in manual testing and embedded systems.
Location: Lviv, Ukraine

- Please include in your CV a detailed description of your experience in the embedded/IoT field and/or in testing hardware or wireless devices. Explain your motivation to work on embedded projects
- We consider candidates only from the Lviv region, as this position requires visiting the office

Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements to ensure a clear understanding of embedded system functionality and testing needs
- Write and execute manual test cases for IoT devices and firmware
- Log defects clearly and verify bug fixes
- Support the team in setting up and maintaining hardware test environments
Requirements
- Completed courses or commercial experience in manual testing
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (STLC, bug life cycle)
- Basic understanding of common communication protocols and interfaces: UART, MQTT, CAN bus, SPI, I2C, SSH, BT/BLE
- Demonstrated interest in the IoT/embedded field (e.g., personal projects, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi)
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
- At least an Intermediate level of English
Nice to Have
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study
- Familiarity with the Linux command line (Basic bash commands)
- Understanding of basic integration and component testing concepts
