Trainee/Junior Automation QA Engineer (Mobile)

About the Position

Join us as a Trainee/Junior Automation QA Engineer (Mobile) to create and maintain test documentation, design and execute automated test scripts, and collaborate with development and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using WebdriverIO, Appium, or other tools.
• Perform comprehensive manual and automated testing for mobile applications.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct API testing and validate request/response structures and performance.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
• Analyse and report test results, providing clear insights into product quality and potential risks.

Requirements

• Experience with Appium for test automation.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing, including maintaining and creating test documentation.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: JavaScript.
• Familiarity with tools such as Android Studio and Xcode or equivalent.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration processes.
• Hands-on experience in mobile application testing (Android/iOS).
• Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP protocols.
