Transformation QA Analyst – App-V

About the Position
You will take part in a strategic application transformation for a major transportation company. The goal is to migrate applications to the App-V/MSIX format, standardize packaging processes, and ensure the highest quality of delivered solutions.
The project includes integration with SCCM, Citrix, and VMware, QA testing, performance monitoring, and collaboration within an international team working remotely. This is a great opportunity to leverage your QA and application packaging experience to make a real impact on the organization’s efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize application delivery methods and infrastructure
- Gather requirements and inventory applications for virtualization
- Design and implement App-V architecture and integrate with SCCM, Citrix, and VMware
- Develop packaging standards and participate in QA testing
- Deploy solutions in test and production environments
- Prepare technical documentation, support training, and contribute to the Acceptance to RUN process
- Monitor performance and implement improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in Quality Assurance
- Strong knowledge of App-V (Repackaging MSIX)
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, SCCM)
- Familiarity with Windows Autopilot, Azure AD Join, Hybrid Join
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Understanding of Quality Assurance processes and Acceptance to RUN
- Integration experience with platforms: SCCM, Citrix, VMware
- Proficiency in English and German (minimum B2 level) – mandatory
- Experience working in mixed methodologies (SCRUM / Waterfall)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Citrix and VMware (integration and delivery platform)
- Knowledge of PowerShell / scripting for automating packaging and testing processes
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Understanding of Active Directory / Azure AD (beyond Join functionality)
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools (e.g. AppDynamics, Dynatrace, SCOM, Splunk)
- Experience in enterprise-scale Windows 10/11 environments
- Knowledge of application security (isolation, access control, data protection)
