Translator

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Translator for an international retail company with over 1600 stores. This is a full-time position based in Bucharest, Romania.

Responsibilities

• Conducting consecutive and simultaneous interpretation for the company’s employees and partners during negotiations, meetings, training sessions, and other corporate events.
• Preparing translations of reports, commercial proposals, and other corporate documentation related to the company’s operations and projects.
• Translating official documents, contracts, instructions, and other internal company documents.
• Reviewing translated documents to ensure accuracy with the original, proofreading for errors, and refining wording for precision and professional style.
• Ensuring confidentiality of translated information.
• Collaborating with other departments to understand their needs and adapt translations to the company’s specifics.

Requirements

• Fluency in Romanian, English, and Russian.
• Practical experience in both oral and written translation; experience in retail or related industries is also valued.
• Attention to detail when reviewing texts and the ability to adapt text to corporate style and requirements.
• Skills in planning and prioritizing; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines even under high workload conditions.
