The Opportunity

EY-Parthenon is looking for a Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy Executive to join our MENA team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our diversely talented and highly experienced team, working at the forefront of high-profile transactions. Our strategic advisors deliver high-quality advice to clients, helping them navigate complex financial and operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in evaluating capital options, maximizing transaction value, and achieving strategic objectives.
• Support the preparation of comprehensive financial reviews of client operations.
• Provide advisory services on corporate risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams from various strategy and transactions sub-service lines.
• Contribute to practice development initiatives that promote a positive and high-performing work environment.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, while influencing and advising key decision-makers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3+ years of relevant work experience in corporate restructuring.
• Strong finance and accounting capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Flexibility to travel in the region (approximately 25 to 50% of the time).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Islamic finance.
• Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Auditing experience and client-facing experience from a professional services or consulting background.
• Full fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
