About the Position
UAV Engineer / Tech Lead

This is a role in the R&D team, where engineers from various fields come together to create and improve products that have already proven their effectiveness in hundreds of thousands of missions.
The team is expanding and looking for a UAV Engineer/Tech Lead who will join the development of existing solutions, test new approaches, and see their solutions validated and scaled to hundreds of thousands of products.
Responsibilities
- Management of requirements and documentation: Writing/reviewing specifications, instructions, and specifications, risk analysis, and deadlines.
- Coordination of development and production: Planning architecture with the Tech Director; communication with HW, designers, and prototyping engineers, technologists, and the workshop; highlighting blockers.
- Control of task implementation: Creating and monitoring tasks; controlling the fulfillment of deadlines through line managers (motors, tests, pilot production).
- Feedback analysis: Processing feedback from production (DFM), analyzing telemetry and logs after tests; troubleshooting and product adaptation.
- Testing and quality support: Organizing bench and field tests of prototypes; consulting QA/QC; making decisions in the absence of management.
- **Close collaboration with the technical team, department heads, and project personnel; ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the development of aircraft UAVs.
- Higher technical education (aviation, mechatronics, electronics, systems engineering).
- Experience with CAD/CAE and the integration of hardware and software.
- Experience in designing mechanical components and assemblies.
- Knowledge of aerodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing technologies.
- Experience with digital communication systems (LTE, Starlink).
- Experience with ArduPilot.
- Understanding of product preparation for production.
- Planning and organization of flight tests.
- Successful experience in team management.
