UAV Pilot - Frontline

The Fourth Law (Четвертий Закон) - a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of drone autonomy technologies. Role mission: To ensure high-quality preparation, execution, and analysis of UAV field tests in order to improve the effectiveness of the company’s autonomous solutions. The role focuses on collecting and interpreting data, supporting the engineering team in identifying and resolving technical problems, and ensuring the reliability and combat readiness of The Fourth Law’s products in real-world conditions of use.

You will join the Frontline team responsible for tools and solutions that are already operating in close proximity to the front line, destroying the enemy and strengthening the capabilities of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Conducting flight tests and collecting data;
• Analyzing results to identify problems and developing recommendations for improving UAVs;
• Identifying faults and collaborating with engineers to resolve them;
• Preparing reports describing tests, results, and conclusions;
• Ensuring compliance with standards and safety;
• Collaborating with the team to exchange information and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Experience piloting FPV;
• Understanding of the technical aspects of UAVs, including flight control systems, sensors, and communication systems;
• Technical knowledge in related fields, such as electronics or mechanics;
• Analytical thinking and the ability to draw well-founded conclusions based on test results;
• English - B1 or higher;
• Driver’s license.

Nice to Have

• Experience with drone protocols and tools: Betaflight, Ardupilot, MAVLink, ELRS, VTX/VRX, digital video, QGroundControl/Mission Planner.
• Experience with fixed-wing UAVs
• Linux skills
• Understanding of how electronics and interfaces work (UART, CAN, MIPI-CSI).
