UAV Systems Engineer

We are looking for a UAV Systems Engineer who will join the R&D team of one of our partners. The company creates and manufactures technological solutions that have already impacted hundreds of thousands of enemy targets. This role is for someone who understands how to assemble, configure, integrate, and bring a UAV system to a working state: from flight controllers and firmware to cameras, communication, and related modules.

This is an opportunity to work in a full-cycle team: from idea to serial product. Here, you can manage your projects, influence technical decisions, and quickly implement them thanks to our own manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assembly, configuration, and integration of UAV components;
• Working with flight controllers, their firmware, and configuration;
• Setting up basic flight parameters, including PID;
• Integrating cameras, communication systems, TX/RX modules, and other components;
• Connecting and configuring new devices as part of the UAV system;
• Collaborating with hardware and embedded engineers to bring the product to a ready state;
• Participating in building a holistic solution architecture around the UAV.

Requirements

• Practical experience in UAV / FPV / UAV topics;
• Experience with assembling, configuring, and integrating multirotors or related systems;
• Understanding of flight controllers and the logic of UAV systems;
• Knowledge of ArduPilot / Betaflight;
• Understanding of electronics, power components, and basic hardware components;
• Experience integrating cameras, communication channels, and related modules;
• Understanding of MAVLink, CRSF, or related protocols.

Nice to Have

• Basic programming skills in Python / Lua;
• Experience with custom firmware or non-standard configurations;
• Understanding of the network part, VPN, telemetry, or video transmission;
• Broader engineering background: aerodynamics, structural integrity, design.
