About the Position

Tripledot Studios is one of the largest independent mobile games companies in the world. We are a multi-award-winning organization with a global team of over 2,500 people across 12 studios. Our portfolio includes some of the biggest titles in mobile gaming, engaging over 25 million daily active users. We are looking for a UI Artist to join our studio Ludios in Jakarta.

About Ludios

Ludios, meaning "The Game People," is a studio within Tripledot Studios. We create and publish our own casual, free-to-play mobile games. Our team is based across APAC, with the majority of our development happening in Jakarta and Melbourne. We are data-driven, creative, and passionate about the industry. We are currently working on several exciting projects, including one built around a globally recognized IP.

Responsibilities

Design and develop an appropriate visual style for the game with the Art Director
Create the UI with UX best practices in mind
Create storyboards and mockups from sketch until the final look with high quality within the time frame
Create key artwork and optimisable assets
Participate in design discussions with local and global stakeholders to ensure alignment with the product vision
Implement designs into Unity, assisted by the in-house technical art team

Requirements

2 - 3 years of experience
A portfolio showcasing mobile game-related artwork and projects
Excellence in UI problem-solving to allow the best user experience
Strong graphic design skills
Understanding of the mobile games market, its design styles, and trends
Good knowledge of UI software (Figma, Adobe, InVision, etc.)
Good understanding of implementing UI in Unity
Good English verbal communication and presentation skills

Nice to Have

Good understanding of motion graphics and VFX design in UI
Basic understanding of 3D modeling and animation for UI
