UI/UX Designer

About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated UI/UX Designer to join our agile development team at DISS-CO. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and deploying AI models and systems that drive our product offerings and services.

Responsibilities

Product UI/UX Design (Approx. 60% Focus)

• User Research & Strategy: Conduct user research, analyze data, and create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for new and existing product features (web and mobile).
• Interaction & Visual Design: Design high-fidelity mockups and visual specifications for user interfaces, ensuring aesthetic coherence and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Usability Testing: Plan and execute usability tests, interpret feedback, and iterate on designs to optimize the user experience.
• Design System Management: Help develop, maintain, and evangelize a consistent design system/component library to ensure scalability and efficiency across the product.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to ensure design feasibility, implementation quality, and timely delivery.

Marketing & Social Media Design (Approx. 40% Focus)

• Marketing Collateral: Design visually appealing assets for marketing campaigns, including landing pages, banner ads (display and social), email templates, and presentation decks.
• Social Media Content: Create original, engaging graphics and short animations for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook) that drive engagement and build brand awareness.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing and social media materials adhere to the company’s brand identity, voice, and visual standards.
• Asset Management: Organize and manage a library of marketing design assets, photos, and templates.

Requirements

• Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably for a SaaS or technology product.
• Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma is preferred).
  • Expertise in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects for basic animations).
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for responsive design.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) is a plus, but not required for coding.
• Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a desire to stay updated on design trends and technology.
  • A strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
