About the Position

Upravljalec brizgalnih strojev za plastiko (m/ž/d)

Location: Okolica Gradca (Maribor oddaljen 1h) | polni delovni čas

Our client is an internationally successful manufacturing company with a long-standing tradition in Austria. Located in Styria, Austria (approximately 45 minutes from the Šentilj border crossing), they produce high-quality plastic components for renowned international clients. The production and toolroom are located on the same site. The company collaborates with leading global brands and places great emphasis on quality, teamwork, and independent responsibility.

We are looking for a reliable person with technical understanding who enjoys actively participating in work, taking responsibility, and wanting to become part of a successful team in the long term.

Responsibilities

  • Changing tools and setting up injection molding machines
  • Managing and monitoring production equipment
  • Monitoring and optimizing plastic injection processes
  • Collaborating with production, technical, and internal toolroom teams
  • Assisting in the maintenance and servicing of equipment
  • Participating in tool certifications
  • Providing and implementing improvement suggestions
  • Ensuring quality standards and smooth production flow

Requirements

  • Mandatory work experience in plastic injection molding
  • Experience with setting up or preparing production machines
  • Technical education is a plus (e.g., mechatronics, automation, etc.)
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift system (Mon.–Fri., weekends off)
  • Good knowledge of German (at least level B2)
  • Accurate, reliable, and high-quality work approach
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills

Salary and Employment Terms

Salary is based on the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry.

The basic gross salary starts from €3,100 per month (depending on qualifications and experience) - 14 payments per year.

Additionally, a performance-related bonus of up to 10% of the annual gross salary is possible.

Employment terms:

  • 1-month probationary period, followed by a 3-month fixed-term employment
  • After a successful introductory period (4 months), long-term employment for an indefinite period is expected

Additional Information

The location is less accessible by public transport, so personal transport for shift work is recommended. The company does not offer company housing or assistance in finding accommodation. Employment is directly with the company – not an agency job.
