US Accountant (US Tax & Accounting)

About the Position
We are seeking a US Accounting & Taxation professional with 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-charge bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end closing. The role involves preparing and reviewing US federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring tax compliance, and maintaining accurate financials as per US GAAP. The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or Odoo, and an EA or CPA certification is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-charge bookkeeping, accounting data migrations, and general ledger accounts.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare and review various US federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Ensure accurate tax compliance, filings, and readiness of financial data.
- Process payroll, manage vendor payments, and handle month-end closing activities.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and manage US Sales Tax compliance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of dedicated US tax and full-charge bookkeeping experience.
- Hands-on expertise with QuickBooks, Xero, and Odoo and US tax software.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, accounting standards, and tax procedures.
- EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
