UX Lead, Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

Responsibilities
As a UX Lead, you will be a key driver of our strategic product development, partnering closely with Senior Designers, Product Managers, and Product Owners to lead Customer-Driven Innovation (CDI) workshops that focus on solving real problems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and facilitating workshops with customers and internal stakeholders to validate needs and define clear problem statements.
- Translating customer insights into innovative and scalable design solutions.
- Collaborating proactively with stakeholders across projects to ensure alignment on requirements and priorities.
- Driving UX strategy and contributing to the broader functional strategy within the organization.
- Independently leading UI design efforts for a program of interconnected projects.
- Acting as a Team-lead, mentor, and guide for other UX professionals and stakeholders.
- Ensuring UX quality in all phases of development, from concept to delivery.
- Contributing to the evolution of Tieto’s design methods, tools, and delivery quality.
- Representing Tieto externally with clients, identifying new opportunities, and positioning our UX capabilities as a competitive advantage.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UX design, with proven success in leading large-scale or complex projects.
- Specialized expertise in interaction design, service design, or user research.
- High-level communication and presentation skills-you can engage everyone from developers to C-level executives and customers.
- Experience planning and estimating design efforts for complex offerings.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align UX work with business goals.
- Demonstrated experience building long-term client relationships and negotiating key design decisions.
- Ability to influence cross-organizational work, drive alignment, and improve ways of working.
- Fluency in English. (Fluency in another Nordic language is a plus.)
