About the Position

JOIN MUNSON HEALTHCARE’S NEUROSCIENCES TEAM!

Full-time | Call | Nights and Weekends

Munson Medical Center is seeking an excellent BE/BC Vascular Neurologist to cover inpatient stroke patients, including consults from the emergency department, and assist in our outpatient stroke clinic. Critical care or General Neurology experience desired.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver dedicated inpatient stroke coverage to ensure comprehensive management of acute stroke patients.
  • Engage in tele-stroke coverage to provide remote consultation and support for stroke care in various settings.
  • Conduct outpatient follow-up in our specialized stroke clinic, manage ongoing care and recovery for stroke patients.
  • Collaborate with stroke-trained nurses and APPs to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Requirements

  • Board-eligible or board certified in neurology with a fellowship in vascular neurology
  • MI license or eligible for medication licensure in the State of Michigan
