About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Verandermanager Sociaal Domein to join our Public Consulting team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. You will be responsible for executing change management assignments at a tactical and strategic level for our clients in the social sector.

Responsibilities

• Execute change management assignments at a tactical and strategic level for clients in the social sector.
• Lead and guide organizational changes with a clear vision and open approach.
• Provide leadership as a change manager with extensive knowledge of the social domain.
• Collaborate with management and board as a strong leader and spokesperson.
• Develop long-term strategic visions and implement change management methodologies.

Requirements

• HBO or preferably WO degree.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within the local government.
• Clear vision and open approach towards changes.
• Experience in leadership roles as a change manager.
• Extensive knowledge of the social domain (participatie, WMO, or Jeugdzorg).
• Independent, firm, yet connected with the environment.
• Strategic insight and understanding of administrative and societal relations.
• Strong leadership skills and effective communication with management and board.
• Proficiency in Dutch, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience in interim management.
• Additional knowledge and experience in the public sector.
