About the Position
Sika is seeking a Vertical Market & Key Account Management Manager to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts in Japan. This role involves market development, customer relationship building, specification proposals, and the creation of key projects in major vertical markets.
Responsibilities
- Market Development: Identify and develop large vertical markets that require advanced expertise, complex technical requirements, and specialized proposal activities.
- Key Account Management: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with major general contractors, design firms, developers, large enterprises, and global companies.
- Specification Activities & Technical Proposals: Propose specifications and technical solutions for Sika's construction-related products and systems, and support clients with technical documentation, testing data, and samples.
- Key Project Management: Gather early information on construction projects, select and develop key projects, and manage project phases to achieve sales targets.
- Internal Coordination & Data Management: Collaborate with various departments to implement specifications, manage customer and project information in CRM Salesforce, and improve business processes.
Requirements
- Mandatory:
- At least 5 years of corporate sales experience
- At least 5 years of proposal and sales experience
- English proficiency (able to read and write emails)
- Valid driver's license
- Preferred:
- Experience in sales of architectural finishing materials or civil engineering materials
- Experience in design spec-in activities, specification proposals, or key account management
- Experience in gathering construction project information, project formation, and progress management
