About the Position

Vice President, Transaction Services Sales

ING Bank is seeking a Vice President, Transaction Services Sales to join our Wholesale Banking division in New York, NY. This role focuses on managing and expanding global relationships with multinational US corporate clients, offering a complete suite of ING corporate banking and treasury products across our international network, with a natural focus on Europe.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by pitching to prospects
• Expand network business by deepening existing relationships
• Drive TS cross-sell by spotting opportunities
• Manage all internal stakeholders across the network
• Manage the TS relationship, acting as a trusted Payments and Cash Management consultant
• Develop Cash & Liquidity Management relationships at Cash Manager/Treasurer level
• Own the TS P&L, growing the business
• Negotiate and close TS deals, acting as deal captain
• Coordinate the response to RFP’s
• Own product implementations, providing optimal solutions to our clients

Requirements

• Qualifications / Education:

  • BS or MS degree, MS degree is preferred

• Experience / Knowledge:

  • At least 5 years of working experience with treasury products
  • Track record in origination of transactions, as well as client on-boarding
  • Relevant deal team and transaction execution experience
  • Strong understanding of the products, business drivers, and product capabilities

• Competencies:

  • Demonstrated consultative selling, origination, and pitching skills
  • Customer focus with strong business acumen, drive, and achievement motivation
  • Self-starter with a proactive and creative mindset, able to build-out local TS platform
  • Solid analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative working style, effective team player
