About the Position
ICONIC21 is a leading provider of live dealer and casino games, delivering premium, tailor-made gaming experiences for global markets. We develop dedicated studios, custom games, and promotional tools – from live casino and slots to RNG products – all designed to maximize player engagement and help our partners stand out in a competitive landscape.
We are looking for a Live Video Streaming Engineer to join our Video Engineering team and help build, maintain, and support reliable live video streaming infrastructure in a 24/7 production environment.
In this role, you will work with real-time live video systems, gaining hands-on experience with studio signal flow, video capture, encoding, streaming, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Working alongside experienced Video Engineers, Studio Engineers, DevOps, and Software Engineers, you will contribute to the stability and performance of mission-critical live streaming workflows while continuously expanding your technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of a scalable video streaming server.
- Develop and maintain a GStreamer-based video encoding service.
- Build and improve a web-based video player.
- Optimize code performance and streaming efficiency.
- Develop event-driven handlers for professional video production equipment.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of algorithms and computational complexity.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Conversational level of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience building large-scale, high-load distributed systems.
- Knowledge of network engineering and networking protocols.
- Experience with video encoding and transcoding pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with WebRTC streaming servers.
- Understanding of video codecs, containers, and streaming protocols.
- Experience working with Linux and Docker.
