Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the certification of airborne software and electronic hardware used in civil helicopter systems.
• Perform technical analysis of software/hardware development and verification plans.
• Prepare the necessary approval documentation (compliance evidence, certification plans, verification reports).
• Contribute to the definition of the certification strategy in line with DO-178C / DO-254 processes.
• Collaborate with system managers, software/hardware engineers, technical experts, and project managers.
• Follow up, review compliance data, and ensure that certification activities are completed on time.

Requirements

• Fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements (EU-graduate, aged between 18 and 28 years).
• Have completed an aerospace engineering, computer engineering, or comparable degree.
• Have experience in certification engineering, compliance, or avionics development in the aerospace industry.
• Be familiar with DO-178C (software) and DO-254 (hardware) standards, and their role in aviation certification.
• Be an open and communicative person.
• Speak fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
