Match Profiler is an Information Systems consulting firm, working in the national and international market since 1999. We are empowered with multidisciplinary competences and know-how in IT, which allow us to contribute, optimize and move forward with our clients.

We are currently looking for a Virtualization Systems Administrator – Híbrido (Lisboa ou Porto) to join our team.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Microsoft Hyper-V clusters with a focus on high availability, integrated with high-availability storage solutions.
Configure, optimize, and manage resources in highly available virtualized environments.
Manage Microsoft Windows Server, including roles, Failover Clustering, policies, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Administer VDI environments (Remote Desktop Services – RDS), ensuring high performance, security, and availability.
Utilize System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) for deployment, monitoring, and automation of operations.
Apply advanced networking knowledge (LAN, VLAN, routing, switching, NIC teaming, load balancing, and TCP/IP troubleshooting) to virtualized and clustered environments.
Script and automate tasks with PowerShell for administration, monitoring, and preventive maintenance.
Monitor and manage technical support using relevant tools.

Requirements

Hard Skills:
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Over 5 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Solid experience in VDI environments.
- Proficiency in System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM).
- Advanced networking skills.
- Fluency in technical English (spoken and written).
- Microsoft Specialist: Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center certification (valued).
- Knowledge in SQL Server AlwaysOn and other HA/DR solutions (valued).
- Experience in PowerShell scripting and automation (valued).
- Familiarity with monitoring and technical support tools (valued).
