Web Developer - React & Next.js

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

OneTrust’s mission is to enable innovation through the responsible use of data and AI. We believe that ensuring data is trusted shouldn’t slow teams down-it should accelerate what’s possible. This led us to develop the first technology platform for responsible data use in 2016. Today, with AI representing the latest and most impactful expansion of data yet, OneTrust is once again redefining what responsible innovation looks like. OneTrust, the AI‑Ready Governance Platform™, unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows so businesses can continue to move at the speed of AI while ensuring good governance to prevent data misuse at scale. Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, OneTrust is shaping the future where trusted data becomes a transformative force for business and society.

The Challenge

As OneTrust continues to deliver high-impact digital experiences, we’re looking for a Web Developer with strong React and Next.js expertise to support the development of scalable, user-friendly web applications and marketing websites. This role will partner closely with UX Design, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to turn ideas and requirements into polished, reliable web experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications and websites using React, Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Build reusable, accessible, and performant front-end components that support consistent user experiences across platforms.
  • Translate designs, wireframes, and business requirements into clean, maintainable front-end code.
  • Optimize applications for performance, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with UX Design, Marketing, Product, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
  • Integrate front-end applications with APIs, CMS platforms, analytics tools, and third-party services.
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of front-end development standards.
  • Support content-driven experiences; familiarity with AEM or other CMS platforms is beneficial.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional front-end development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js in production environments.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end tooling.
  • Experience building reusable components, design-system patterns, and responsive layouts.
  • Understanding of server-side rendering, static site generation, routing, and performance optimization in Next.js.
  • Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs and working with structured content from CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards, SEO best practices, and cross-browser/device testing.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of testing approaches and tools for front-end applications.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors, CSS-in-JS, utility-first CSS, or component styling frameworks.
  • AEM experience is a plus, especially working with content authoring, components, templates, or headless CMS integrations.
  • Ability to accurately estimate, plan, and deliver development tasks in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service or AEM Sites.
  • Experience with headless CMS architecture, Contentful, WordPress, Optimizely, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with analytics, personalization, experimentation, or marketing technology integrations.
  • Experience with e-commerce, localization, or high-traffic content websites.
