Responsibilities
- Total responsibility for the production site with around 500 employees, including P&L, budget, and strategic investment responsibility (CAPEX, machinery, and plant planning)
- Leadership and development of managers and employees in production, engineering, logistics, quality, and construction & development
- Continuously increasing productivity in all areas, aligned with overarching company goals and based on consistent process development
- Designing and expanding digitally optimized processes and economically developing the degree of automation
- Continuously optimizing production while maintaining high quality standards, efficiency, and safety requirements
- Ensuring continuous improvement and implementing the LEAN philosophy
- Utilizing and effectively developing KPIs in conjunction with effective measure control
- Reducing product and process complexities
- Close collaboration with the central departments of the corporate group and with other national and international production sites
- Developing and qualifying, as well as ensuring, a company culture based on customer satisfaction, quality, safety, and continuous innovation, lived by the entire workforce
- Implementing and being responsible for the growth and efficiency strategy for the site, continuously aligning with requirements and frameworks through explicit measure control
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical/business administration studies or comparable qualifications (e.g., vocational training with additional qualifications)
- Several years of leadership experience in large-scale industrial production, preferably with a focus on metal processing
- Extensive experience in the holistic management and development of a production site with P&L responsibility
- Good knowledge of process/LEAN tools and methodology, as well as modern leadership and project management instruments
- Driver of innovation and strong communication skills in German and good English skills
- Motivator and structured pragmatic "doer" with a balanced ability to delegate and ensure results
- Binding and straightforward in approach and implementation, yet approachable
- Analytical, factual, and structured-based working and decision-making approach
