As a Werkstudent (m/w/d) Business Intelligence at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Möbel GmbH in Berlin, you will make a real contribution. As a sparring partner, you will work closely with product management, IT, and other departments, as well as the executive board, develop a deep understanding of our business processes, and actively participate in data-driven decisions.

With your analyses and dashboards, you make complex relationships tangible, creating the central basis for well-founded decisions and operational measures in various departments.

Responsibilities

• You develop not only reports but real decision aids – with dashboards that precisely summarize complex company data and translate them into concrete, actionable measures
• As a sparring partner, you work closely with the executive board and various departments (IT, product management, customer service, partner management) and advise on data-driven decisions. You extract data from various sources, validate it, and condense complex data landscapes into clear, decision-relevant insights
• You continuously develop existing dashboards in Apache Superset – especially with regard to performance, transparency, and changing requirements
• You conduct ad-hoc analyses to quickly provide data-based answers to dynamic operational and strategic issues
• You proactively identify and prioritize optimization potentials along key business processes and actively shape the expansion of data-driven corporate governance

Requirements

• Ongoing studies: in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or similar
• SQL skills: Basic understanding of databases, initial experience in using SQL for queries and analysis is advantageous
• Initial practical experience: Experience in handling large amounts of data and ideally initial contact with BI tools (e.g., Apache Superset, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) and AI tools or AI-based solutions
• Analytical understanding: Very good analytical thinking and understanding of data-driven relationships as well as a structured approach
• Work style: Independent work, quick comprehension, and hands-on mentality with the aim of taking responsibility and achieving impact
• Language skills: Very good German (at least C1) and English skills in speech and writing
• Optional: Python skills are an additional plus
