About the Position
GBM Gleisbaumechanik Brandenburg/H. GmbH is part of the owner-managed General Atomics Europe Group. We develop, manufacture, modernize, and maintain vehicles for the maintenance of the German rail network - from overhead line maintenance vehicles to track work vehicles.
Join our team as a Werkstudent Qualitätssicherung (m/w/d) at our future-proof location with tradition on the beautiful peninsula of Kirchmöser.
Responsibilities
- Support quality assurance in daily operations by inspecting and approving components and assemblies in rail vehicle manufacturing
- Participate in the creation, revision, and archiving of test reports, initial sample inspections, construction deviations, and quality proofs
- Assist in the collection and analysis of quality metrics and in conducting root cause analyses for sustainable error prevention
- Support the implementation of industry standards and quality standards
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of internal audits as well as supplier and customer audits
Requirements
- Current studies in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Vehicle Technology, Production Engineering, Quality Management, or a comparable field
- Interest in rail vehicles, manufacturing technologies, and quality assurance processes in an industrial environment
- Proficient use of common MS-Office applications, initial experience with ERP systems is advantageous
- Conscientious, structured, and independent working style with a high sense of quality and responsibility
- Fluent German language skills in speech and writing
