About Us

Finanztip is not just any company. As part of the non-profit Finanztip Stiftung, we have a clear mission: to make finances simple. We are not only Germany's leading financial advisor but also an employer that convinces with a culture where meaning and social responsibility meet ambition and top performance. Over 100 dedicated talents are already part of our strong team – and we are still growing!

Start with real practical experience, develop new skills, and grow beyond yourself every day. In our modern offices in Munich and Berlin, you will find everything you need for productive work: an open team, short decision-making processes, and excellent technical equipment. And because your work-study-life balance is important to us, we flexibly design your working hours together. With Wellpass, you can also take advantage of numerous sports and wellness offers – for the right balance alongside your studies and job.

Your Role

  • You actively contribute to the development and optimization of our website, calculators, and internal tools – you are enrolled in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree program and have about 20 hours per week available.
  • Together with our development team, you implement new features and enhancements – your interest in Clean Code, agile processes, and modern software architectures will help you quickly get up to speed with our projects.
  • You actively participate in the maintenance and further development of our web applications in the frontend and backend – you apply your initial experience in web development and knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or PHP specifically.
  • When testing our software solutions, you detect bugs and help ensure the highest quality standards – your structured and solution-oriented approach is beneficial here.
  • Thorough documentation of code and technical processes is also part of your responsibilities – self-responsibility and a good eye for detail characterize you.
  • By analyzing user feedback, you develop concrete ideas for improving the user experience – your motivation to learn helps you quickly pick up new impulses and put them into practice.

In short – This is what you bring to the table:

  • You are enrolled in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree program and have around 20 hours per week available.
  • You already have initial experience in web development, for example with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, and are interested in Clean Code, agile methods, and modern software architectures.
  • For this role, you can be in our Munich office at least 2 days a week.
  • Good English skills (at least C1) round out your profile.

Your Team

You will become part of our IT team under the leadership of Daniele Cinquantini (CTO). In your role, you will work closely with other software developers and have the opportunity to further expand your own expertise in software development.
