Windows Systems Administrator

About the Position

Eurotux is an Information Technologies company with an international scope. As part of our growth strategy, we intend to hire a Windows Systems Administrator (Ref 001-2026).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer systems;
• Monitor and provide support for IT infrastructures;
• Participate in infrastructure projects;
• Analyse and resolve incidents in IT systems;
• Provide customer service and support by phone and email, ensuring effective follow-up of requests;
• Ensure availability to provide services on a 24/7 basis, according to service scheduling needs;
• Support a portfolio of clients in Portugal and the United Kingdom, requiring strong proficiency in English;
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Higher education in Computer Science or related areas;
• Experience in virtualization, backups, Windows, networking, and hardware;
• Knowledge of various services: Apache, Databases (MySQL, SQL Server, etc.), iptables Firewall, Virtualization (Xen and others), Email servers (qmail, postfix, etc.);
• Proficient in English;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• A strong desire to learn and take on new challenges;
• Sense of responsibility and rigor, proactivity, and customer focus.
