WordPress Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team in Central Europe. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
• Implement Figma designs with high visual accuracy
• Build and modify custom WordPress themes and components using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Work within an existing codebase while maintaining code quality and consistency
• Ensure responsive, cross-browser compatible, and performant user interfaces
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver new features and improvements
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and issues reported during QA
• Perform ongoing website maintenance and support
• Estimate development tasks, communicate progress, and proactively raise risks or blockers
• Use Git for version control and work across staging and production environments

Requirements

• Strong experience with WordPress development
• Experience implementing designs from Figma with excellent attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience developing and maintaining custom WordPress themes
• Strong experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Ability to understand and work within an existing project architecture
• Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience using Git and managing deployments across staging and production environments
• Strong time management skills with the ability to estimate tasks and meet deadlines
• Proactive communication regarding progress, risks, and blockers
• Willingness to address QA feedback and provide ongoing website maintenance
• Portfolio showcasing relevant WordPress projects
