About the Position

Join our team as a WordPress Developer (Part-time) to work on custom themes, landing pages, and SEO optimization in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve volpis.com
Develop new landing pages, service pages, and case studies from Figma designs
Create and extend custom themes and Gutenberg blocks
Optimize website performance and technical SEO
Manage updates and releases safely using staging environments
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content specialists
Proactively identify bugs, performance issues, and improvement opportunities

Requirements

4+ years of WordPress development experience
Experience building and maintaining custom WordPress themes
Experience developing custom blocks and reusable content components
Experience working on marketing, corporate, or content-heavy websites
DevOps and hosting management experience
Strong PHP and WordPress core knowledge
Experience building custom WordPress solutions without relying on Elementor or similar page builders
Gutenberg and ACF experience
Solid HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript skills
Ability to translate Figma designs into clean, maintainable code
Website performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, caching, page speed)
Technical SEO implementation (schema, metadata, sitemaps, semantic markup)
Git and structured deployment workflows
Ability to perform self-QA before release
Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining quality
Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail
WordPress security best practices
Intermediate+ English
