Job description

About the Position

Raisin is the world’s leading platform for savings and investment products. Founded in 2012, the FinTech connects consumers with banks in the EU, the UK, and the US. This gives consumers better interest rates and banks a diversified form of refinancing. Our vision is to offer savings and investments without barriers and thus open up the global 160 trillion euro market.

We are currently seeking a Working Student Deposit Operations (m/f/d) to join our Synchronised Model Deposit Operations Team in Berlin, Germany. This role involves managing real-time deposit flows and ensuring data integrity for our global savings platform.

Responsibilities

  • Payment & Sync Governance: Execute and supervise real-time automated payment flows. Perform manual interventions and corrective postings under the Four-Eyes Principle to resolve synchronization lags and ensure transaction finality.
  • Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Conduct daily high-frequency reconciliations between internal ledgers and partner bank data. Investigate "out-of-sync" scenarios to ensure permanent data parity and maintain audit-proof documentation.
  • Partner & SLA Management: Serve as the primary operational liaison for Sync Model DtBs. Monitor interface uptime and latency in accordance with regulation, leading root cause analyses for any technical drifts.
  • Technical Integration: Coordinate tech enhancements and system releases. Lead Operational Validation to ensure that technical rollouts maintain system stability and data integrity.
  • Process Optimization: Partner with Product and Tech to refine processes and deposit logic. Provide operational requirements for new features, driving automation and scaling the onboarding of new partners while mitigating Operational Risk (OpRisk).

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, Law, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior internship or practical experience in startups, consulting, or operations is a plus. Early-career candidates and motivated fast-learners are also strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis.
  • Comfortable balancing independent problem-solving with close team collaboration.
  • Advanced proficiency (C1 level or higher) in both English and German.

We Offer

  • Employee Development Budget of €400 and one full training day per year.
  • Flexible working hours, home office, and 20 vacation days per year.
  • Deutschland Ticket subsidy of €25 per month for public transportation.
  • Urban Sports Club membership subsidy of more than €20 per month.
  • Snacks, daily fresh fruit, and drinks provided at the office.

We value diversity and the unique experiences each individual brings. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
